GRIFFITH PARK, LOS ANGELES
Love and Light was in the air in Griffith Park on Froday 3rd July as many women came together to share their story. It was a beautiful atmosphere to see a diverse amount of Queen's in one place with more than their hair to connect over. The crowd engaged with many of the public, one who spoke out and said "Why would anyone want to change their natural hair, you all look amazing."
Photographers Baylen Whitfield who travelled from Missouri as well as Vaughn Dabney who also photographed at New York blessed us with their unique and creative energy. We were also joined by Beverly Lindo who is an upcoming photographer.
Singers Malia and Casey Malone also brought a happy and peaceful vibe to the day.

It's being around women like this today that empowers one another to love and embrace their natural beauty and to encourage each other through life. Not many women support one another and it's beautiful to be here and feel like this. - Chimere Longino. |
