HYDE PARK, LONDON.
The vision which had been stuck in a notepad was finally brought to light in Hyde Park, before the brands or the opportunity which has now been an amazing blessing; the event was purely a day for people to socialise and have fun. With games such as pass the parcel and singing by Bolu Noelle, this was something different to what London had experienced at natural hair events.
The traditional back of the 'fro pictures were created which ended up on many platforms online as well as many women beginning their natural hair journey afterwards.
Photography by the upcoming Michael Collins as well as videography by Frena Kidane who helped put the documentary together.

THANK YOUTo all the people who supported the movement from the beginning, you are truly appreciated.
"I loved this event so much, it was fun and simple. I had a really great time meeting everyone. It goes to show how many unique and beautiful people there are in the world. Today has inspired me to continue embracing my natural hair." - Taffy Msipa. |
